Hi all, my x guide dog has to ware a burster colar now because his woond keps bursting open. The woond is from the time he got his leg amputated because he had cancer. I am keeping him as a pet. He fell this morning and burst open the woond. He has to stop running but how can I make him stop running. He was hungry. I want to get another guide dog but not yet.

Try keeping him on his leash, and walking him over to his food dish after you put it down for him.
More prayers from me, as well. I lost my girl to cancer last year, so I have some idea of what this must be like. I'm sorry that anyone else has to live through it. Give him lots of hugs and soft words...which I'm sure you already are doing.
Speaking of x-guide dogs, I called up the school last week to see how steven is doing. He had an ultrasound scan of his chest and abdomen, but I don't know what they found.
You might try an elevated dish. That won't help the running, but it might make him more comfortable while he eats.
I'm really feel sorry to hear that michelle. Even though I'm not lucky enough to make use of the guide dogs here in our india, I got my pet dog and I really love that a lots. and of course I'm sure that's a hard thing if it's getting sick.
